Shipping policy

Processing times

All orders are processed within 1 to 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Postal service delays and external factors may affect these quoted processing times. When an item is in the possession of Canada Post, it is the responsibility of Canada Post, not Sarah's Closet, as far as delivery time. 

Domestic Shipping Rates

Flat Rate Shipping: We offer $15.00 flat rate shipping to Canadian buyers. 

For all orders over $100.00, Sarah's Closet offers FREE expedited shipping within Canada.

Local delivery

Sarah's Closet offers local delivery for $5.00 within Grande Prairie city limits. This option is available at checkout.

Deliveries are made from within 2-5 business days of ordering. We will contact you via text message (with the phone number you provided) or by email at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival. All deliveries are no contact, porch drop offs. Deliveries will be made to a home address only. No apartments. If the item goes missing after delivery, it is not the responsibility of Sarah's Closet to provide a replacement or a refund. 

 In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at my store location in Carriage Lane. After placing your order and selecting local pickup in step one of checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 3 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Local pick up is no contact, and items are left in a pickup bin at a time that is arranged between Sarah's Closet and the buyer. 

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to the following countries: United States

International shipping rates are calculated at checkout, based on package weight. Most parcels are shipped via Tracked Packet or Expedited Parcel. Shipping is FREE for international orders over $150.00. Most parcels delivered to the United States arrive within 7-14 business day, depending on customs at the border. 

Your international order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Sarah's Closet is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 15 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sarahscloset@telus.net with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

To track your order, please go to www.canadapost.ca and enter your tracking number.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Sarah's Closet will ship to P.O. boxes, if the address is recognized by Canada Post. 

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

Due to the nature of consignment clothing, Sarah's Closet will not accept returns on most items. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at sarahscloset@telus.net with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
